JU United Multicultural Association Presents Annual Black History Celebration

The Annual Gospel Extravaganza will be held Monday, February 19 with praise and worship beginning at 6:45 p.m. in JU’s Terry Concert Hall. All are invited to enjoy an inspirational evening of gospel music and dance. Admission is free.

The Black History Banquet will be held Thursday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. in JU’s Kinne Student Center with guest speaker Rodney Hurst. Hurst is the first African-American to co-host a television talk show in Jacksonville, and is also the first African-American male to be hired by the Prudential Insurance South Central Home Office. Cost for this banquet is $20.00. Please RSVP to 256-7150 by February 16.
