Statement of John Grisham
"It is an intriguing and horrifying story: the story of the dream that got Tommy Ward and Karl Fontenot convicted.
Karl and Tommy deserve attention and help.
I encourage anyone with any information about this case to send it to their attorney.
It is important to learn from this nightmare. It is also important that this nightmare somehow be unraveled."

We are looking for anything that could help prove who is responsible for the death.
Assume that whatever you know or have heard is important. In particular, we are hoping to hear from people who, in 1984, lived near the place where the body was found. END
Haraway’s body was found in Hughes County, far from anyplace that was searched. A remote area twenty-five miles east of Ada. Oklahoma

My brother has been in prison for 15 years for a murder he did not commit. He was such a easy target. no evidence just the word of two thugs. Now some family memebers of the actual murderer are coming forth 15 years later to tell what they know. Mark Barrett was one of my brothers lawyers. He always believed in my brother but there is only so mucha lawyer can do and somebody has to do the time! We are hoping it will go back to court although if my brother is set free i don't know how he will adjust to the outside due to all the mentally tourment he has endured over the years.

I like most others have just read "The Innocent Man" by JG. I will soon be reading "The Dreams of Ada" to gain a better understanding of the case against Tommy and Karl. I feel that the credebility of evidence used to convict these two men to be outrageous and almost laughable given the technology and intellect we posses in this modern era.
These guys need someone like Judge Seay who bravely stood for what was right with Ron and Dennis. I desperately hope that someday soon they get there chance. Right will always prevail no matter how much corruption stands in its way.

I just finished reading 'The Innocent Man' and I truly feel that Peterson will either realize one day that Karma is a b_ _ _ _ or God will show him how badly he's hurt people's life's. I feel for Ward and Fontenot and if anyone has their mailing address I would greatly appreciate it if they could let me know what it is. There are many people out there which have committed horrendous crimes and I truly feel they are deserving of their treatment behind bars. An innocent man should NEVER have to endure such pain and I hope and pray one day their innocence will be known to everyone. Grisham's book, because it was a true story, was the most captivating book I have ever read.... I truly hope that one day these men get a legitimate trial to set them free. God be with them until they do...
