I'm a retired Ontario high school teacher, municipal politician, altar boy (one day) who is interested in the arts, politics and learning about other cultures. I have two children, both ladies, both lawyers, one who works to protect indigenous rights from mining companies primarily in South America and another who works on First Nations treaties in British Columbia. My wife and I just celebrated our 40th anniversry. Wow! I write a weakly humour column for the local paper. 

Oops, forgot to mention that I've established a non-profit charitable entity called The Council on World Affairs. Impressive eh? We've been at it for 20 years, primarily running Model U.N. conferences. Our url is www.cowac.org
