A STRING of people have appeared in court charged with kerb-crawling following a police operation targeting men trawling for sex in Northampton's red light district. Three of them yesterday admitted soliciting prostitutes in the Semilong area of Northampton and were all handed a £150 fine and ordered to pay £75 costs each by Northampton magistrates. story northamptontoday.co.uk/

''These ladies of the night put there lives at risk every time they ply there trade. It's the worlds oldest profession and one of the most dangerous. The courts tackle the problem by fining their customers which is better than fining the girls, as they then have to work more to pay off the fines. But why cant these girls advertise themselves on the internet and work from home''. liamssoft.
