''Kettering General Hospital. need's your charity cash''

AN APPEAL is being launched to encourage members of the public to donate money to Kettering General Hospital.

Hospital director of finance Vince Doherty has told members of the hospital's charitable funds committee that the charitable fund balance is set to fall below £1m for "the first time in a long time".

The hospital – which has been forced to make cuts to services to balance the books – receives hundreds of donations every year but because the charitable fund is dwindling, officials are planning a campaign to generate more money.
