Koreans would like to settle in Ukraine
Embassy of Republic Korea in Ukraine would like to create Koreans settlements in various Ukrainian regions, particularly, in the Crimea. This question coordinates with opportunity of South-Korean investments into the Ukrainian economy.
Korean ambassador Ho Sun Chol would like to create a three settlements and asks from Ukrainian authorities to allocate for this purposes a 5-10 thousand hectares. Instead Koreans promises to put their money into Ukrainian agriculture, particularly, to creation of poultry-farming complexes.
Now there are in the Crimea lives about 3-4 thousand ethnic Koreans moved in Ukraine from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Prime-Minister of the Crimean Autonomous Republic mr. Victor Plakida has confirmed plans of Korean embassy, but noted that this question “is enough uneasy for Crimea, therefore it is a subject to discussion”.

Hey bootch, welcome to NowPublic! I like your story, but you don't mention any of your source material - where did you get this information from? Is it eye witness, or did you get the information from another news outlet? Furthermore, what motivated the embassy to ask the Ukrainian government for land settlements - could you provide a bit of background on this?

Hi nouseforadave! Thank you for your comment! First of all I'm sorry for my pure English. As I mentioned in my info, I'm working as a journalist. So I have documents about Korean Embassy plans, such as letter of Ukraine president's secretary to Crimean prime minister with asks for 5-10 thousands hectares for these purposes. I've wrote this story for Ukrainian papers too.
