Kuwait appears concerned...

Am returned online and browsing; this article at Ummah News is interesting, although I have no reason to have any great faith in the accuracy of Israel National News, the source (and Ummah News seems... rather credulous, sometimes? not very selective): nor any reason to think they aren't accurate, either. 

Would the U.S. intervene to liberate Kuwait from an Iranian invasion?

After Holy Mass this morning, I am afraid I read  V. S. Naipaul 's Half a Life and dozed.  Then managed to get involved in the Vatican Television Center's video library while doing some housekeeping (the fit overcomes me occasionally): every single one of those Swiss Guards received Holy Communion on the tongue, and one of them forgot the words of the Guards' oath his was was swearing--the vice commandant had to prompt him; the musicians do a decent rendition of Land of Hope and Glory.  And it is raining and cold.
