Lizbeth took this photoA couple of guys showed up,with a welded re-bar home-made ladder, to climb this umclimbable new fence. The home-made re-bar ladder was hooked up at the top of the fence simply by bending the re-bar and lifting the ladder into place. One guy climbed, jumped and was almost immediately arrested by the Border Patrol, the other ran and was arrested on the Mexican side by some sort of Mexican border police. This overweight Mexican law-enforcement officer asked us to stop so he could remove the ladder.We were in line to cross for 2 hours, the Saturday after Thanksgiving 2OO6.Mexicali & CalexicoLower & Upper Californias,México & USofA
