We all know Beer has an expiry date, usually about 4-6 months from the time it hits the store shelves.  CFIA are making the news today recalling this 2 year old beer and warning to people who may have drank Stella Artois Beer in 2005.  Apparently this  recalled beer was spiked with additional alcohol, resulting in Patrons feeling the immediate affects from the increased alcohol.  No word to date, if the affected Bar Patrons were American.  This spiked beer was sold in Bars in BC and Ontario.  It should be noted Beer stocked in Bars has a turn over refresh rate faster than Paris Hilton's  image, usually restocked daily or weekly. The chances of 2 year old bottled beer lasting longer in any bar is extremely rare.

In the event anyone still suffering a Beer Buzz and resulting hangover from drinking this Stella Artois two years after the fact and feel it is attributed to this beer should contact their nearest Labatt Brewery for a case of free beer and are advised to see their Doctor immediately to get their taste buds checked out or mental stability if they are drinking 2-year old skunky tasting 2 year old beer.

My Final Thought
It is rumoured two suspects are in custody, these two brothers were thought to have tried a similar scam 20 years ago using mice in beer bottles.

TORONTO (CP) — Labatt Breweries and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are issuing a consumer advisory over bottles of Stella Artois beer that may have been tampered with.

The six 330-millilitre single-serve bottles were sold only in restaurants and bars and bear best before dates of November and December of 2005.

My advice: Do not go jogging in a thunderstorm while drinking two-year-old Belgian moonshine-spiked beer. Or at least try to avoid having your mugshot taken afterwards (SCTV comedians excepted, eh?).

The article neglects to mention if there were any mice found in the bottles...

Hey, Hey, Hey there Jordan, I am not one to point an accusing finger here.  It is only rumour and innuendo about these two brothers and their  mice laden beer.  Geez, I can't afford a lawsuit here, but you are certainly free to accuse them.
