Lakme Fashion Week in India Full of Wardrobe Malfunctions

Seems like the clothes aren't the only thing falling apart: I read here
that the Fashion Design Council of India (which co-hosted Lakme Fashion
Week) has split from Lakme and is now responsible for something called
the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. There are now two events that
bill themselves as the biggest fashion event in the country.

This
year the spotlight was stolen from the designers by a series of free
peeks that were played over and over in the Indian media with very
little mention of the fashion. When model Carol Gracias top fell off
her shoulders audiences all over India were titillated for days
afterward with images of the incident. Last season after all the money
that was spent on production and promotion the event was sabotaged by
infighting and nastiness.
