From radio talk shows to in-store promotions, and from elegant tea houses to the hot nightclub scene... Ukulele Ray and his Lunchbox-A-Leles are continuing to spread across America with holiday cheer.

Arriving in Lansing, MI, recently, Ukulele Ray made an in-store appearance at Elderly Instruments, one of North America's largest retail musical instruments dealers, as well as exclusive dealer for the Lunchbox-A-Lele (a cross between ukulele and lunchbox).

Dazzling the musical instrument store patrons with his wild and wacky sense of humor and endless variety of celebrity voice impersonations, Ukulele Ray played his tin-box creations to the amazement and enjoyment for all who came to touch his fun spirit and laughter.

The previous day, Ukulele Ray was honored by the Lansing Fire Department by Captain Todd Ness, who awarded the uke'n songster with his personal "Captain's bars" in honor of the way "he touches people with his warmth and spirit and his dedication to children and music education."

"I've received many honors in my day, but this one touched me most of all," Ukulele Ray said. "Here's a real-life hero who feels that I'm a hero, too, for the work I'm doing. God bless our firefighters!"

Earlier that day, Ukulele Ray was a special guest on Lansing's top drive-time radio station, Q106fm with "Mojo" in the afternoon, where Ray brought his crazy music and comedy to its listeners.

For two nights, Ukulele Ray appeared at Magdalena's Tea House, a local Lancing favorite for music, art and comedy, where he did everything from stand-up comedy to a musical concert that brought a tear to your eye.

Seems no matter where you seem to go, Ukulele Ray may be in a city near you with a lunchbox, singing a tune. For more information on Lunchbox-A-Leles and Ukulele Ray... www.boxaleleco.com
