Laughter best medicine

Surrounded by serious folks in blue scrubs and rubber gloves, the new addition to the IWK Health Centre sticks out like a sore thumb, clad in shiny red pants, plaid jacket and bright green sneakers.

His name is Buddy the Clown.

Linda Skinner, head of the Child Life department, said he has been a great addition to the hospital.
