Launching the Kono Mobile Clinic

Dan Kelly accepts a traditional Sierra Leonean cloth in honor of NOW launch of their Kono Mobile Clinic. Offering the gift is The National Commission for Social Action of Sierra Leone. The distinguished gentlemen standing behind Dan is Mr. Jusu Jakka, the National Chairman for the Amputee and War Wounded Association.
Dr. Barrie and Dan Kelly initiated the Kono Mobile Clinic. The war wounded of this area have one doctor covering this immense area, so Dr. Barrie and Dan decided to start a mobile clinic. They arrive in a different war wounded community once a month. One family lends its house to Dr.Barrie and Dan who then see as many patients as possible. On a recent weekend, they saw 170 patients, turning away many more who would not have another chance to see a doctor for a month.
