Laura Schlessinger and baby of the deceased, Anna Nicole

UPDATE March 23, 2007: Laura Schlessinger, the Santa Barbara News-Press, Saks 5th Avenue and the recent tragic murder of a child in broad daylight.
IT DOES MATTER WHAT PUBLIC FIGURES SAY AND DO.
Schlessinger says she cares for children, what she doesn't say is, it is not all children. Her disregard for little Dannielynn, Anna Nicole Smith's baby, shocked the heart our city. Weeks before burial Schlessinger spoke ill of the child's mother. When Fox did a promotion for Schlessinger the big news headline said she was there to discuss the death of Anna Nicole and what it means to her baby daughter. She said little of what they claimed, it did not resemble a discussion and came off like more book sales. We heard her days before on the radio when she disparaged ALL media for doing anything on Anna Nicole. To rapidly appear on Fox News with sensational news headline and claims not fulfilled, she appeared hypocritical and exploitive again. She was selling her book. It is most disheartening when she uses children. 3/5/07

SCHLESSINGER : I would have begged her to put the child up for adoption to a two-parent, mom-and-dad, married family that was going to love it, and nurture it, and bring it up in a good environment. I would have begged.
COLMES: Begged? Schlessinger . On that day
SCHLESSINGER: Begged.
COLMES: And would she have listened? Probably not.
SCHLESSINGER: I couldn't say I'd pay her, she, what, has $250 billion?
COLMES: She got money from other sources apparently.
SCHLESSINGER: Oh, well, whatever. I don't know. You know, that's exactly what I would do.
COLMES: You talk about, in your new book, "Care and Feeding of Marriage," you talk about families, and mothers, and daddies. And this is quite dysfunctional, what we're seeing here, and we don't know how it's going to end up.
SCHLESSINGER: Well, the baby, sadly — I mean, you know, I feel a little uncomfortable. You're not supposed to say ill of the dead, but this baby was in trouble whether mom was alive or not. I would like — you know, here's my offer. I'll raise the kid; somebody else can keep the money. That kid just needs somebody who's going to love it, not use it as a means of getting an inheritance.
COLMES: You say in your book — and I want to just sneak your book in here as part of the..."

One of the most revealing times in the life of Laura Schlessinger was her mother's horrendous death. (Like Anna Nicole, Laura was estranged from her mother). It was awful enough the body decomposed for four months while Schlessinger lived only a mile away. To make matters worse, Schlessinger left her mother,Yolanda Schessinger in the morgue for an unnecessary 10 days. Her lack of regard for the deceased is brutal. And now she can't wait until the burial of Anna Nicole before using her death and baby for her booksales and PR? For the February 9th radio intro, it was Schlessinger's disgust with media and a "who cares" attitude that she mentioned, she didn't give an opinion of Anna Nicole's lifestyle. Her attitude had a quick change by TV time (Hannity and Colmbs). Whether she gave Dannielynn's mother respect in death or whether her trashy opinions were the subject, isn't even the point. The point is that she uses unfortunate people and death for her own self promotion. Who is trash? Has she no thought for what she's leaving for her son, Deryk Schlessinger?
Schlessinger does have radio PR friends, one radiohead wants to make it seem like she did an "explosive interview". That is a joke? Brian Maloney said "the fact that almost no one else has been willing to denounce Anna Nicole's trashy existence." Oh really, what rock has he been under? Let the body be buried. Who would want to focus on the unpleasant in that way at this time? One day Dannielynn will look into all this. She has enough to deal with. There are so many legs to this story there will be plenty of time for Schlessinger to wallow in filth. How did she and Maloney miss the reason most people hold off on trash opinion when others die? Respect for the deceased and their family. Anyone remember when etiquette and good behavior mattered?
Who cares about an empty statement like " Schlessinger even offered to adopt Smith's child". What's the point of Maloney repeating the "I'll take the baby" hype? That was almost all she said about the child, yet the promo said "Dr. Laura is here to discuss the death of Anna Nicole and what it means to her baby daughter" as if there would be a discussion. It means what, to the baby, that a radio preformer says "I'll raise the kid"? Does Schlessinger think this makes her look like she cares for children? She looks like an opportunist again. Maloney also left out the part of the transcript where Schlessinger said she was a theraphist! Come to Schlessinger's community, you'll see alot more of who she actually is. She's not therapeutic.

Thank you. Anna Nicole is known around the planet. Schlessinger is global.
The Sydney Morning Herald, "Posted by Samantha Brett" January 17, 2007 8:00 PM in her Sam in the City column wrote "Psychologist and radio personality Dr Laura Schlessinger". She's had time to make a correction. It looks like they want the good people of Australia to be tricked by a quack. Dictionary definition of quack:
1. a fraudulent or ignorant pretender to medical skill.
2. a person who pretends, professionally or publicly, to skill, knowledge, or qualifications he or she does not possess;a charlatan.
3. being a quack: a quack psychologist who complicates everyone's problems.
"She calls herself Dr. Laura. But, according to the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners, 'Nobody is allowed to use 'Doctor' unless they are a medical doctor or ... a professor in the psychological field with a clinical license.' Schlessinger has a Ph.D., but it isn't in psychology --- it's in physiology. Her doctorate was entitled 'Effects of Insulin on 3-0 Methylglucose Transport in Isolated Rat Adipocytes.' Schlessinger never had a Phd in Behavior Sciences and her radio act is misleading. Her MFCC has not been active for years and it never was psychotheraphy. Something like 98% of her listeners believe she is a Behavior Science doctor.
From February 2007 radioshowlinks.com (Talk Radio,Amazon,Talk Radio) advertisement: "Dr. Laura is a radio show hosted by Dr. Laura Schlessinger on internet radio. She talks of how we should take responsibility for our problems, and is a controversial psychotherepist. Her psychotherepy includes advice and humor in her direct approach. You can listen to her show stream on internet radio." The spelling is theirs. She is not a psychotherapist.

From American Journalism Review: "I received a call from Mike Paul, who described himself as ;Dr. Laura's global PR consultant.' He said Schlessinger is 'a global brand, and she gets media opportunities all the time. If you don't provide the questions, then we can't help you." They want the public to provide the questions.

THIS IS NOT FROM FOX NEWS. Will you please explain how this is spam? THANK YOU. It is news from an interview. IT MADE HEADLINES Schlessinger was to discuss the baby. She did mention little Dannielynn, but the book sale and other was more of the interview. This is something the news worthy global Schlessinger often does. It is news. We hope to do an update soon. Schlessinger again is demonstrating herself regarding children in a recent murder in Santa Barbara where the victim died in broad daylight behind Saks 5th Avenue. It is news. Schlessinger is news. THIS IS ONE OF MY POSTS THAT WENT MISSING. I didn't know how to find it for awhile. It was missing. There are 2 possibilities why it was so muddled, more on that later. SORRY.
