Hello Everyone!
her name is Leanna Archer from Long Island , NY. At the age of 4 , after she was tested for Pre K, her parents were told that it would be a good idea to take to a gifted center to get tested because she was way too advanced for her age but we didn't take it seriously. At 8 years old she begged her Dad to turn a home made hair product that Mommy makes for her hair into a business. we were so busy working and raising her and her 2 brothers that again we didn't take it seriously. she realized then that she had to do it herself, she started filling her baby brother's gerber jar with the hair dressing and giving to her friends in school to try. When her friend's parents started calling to ask if we can sell it to them, that's when they realized how serious she was. After ignoring her for about a year, Leanna’s Inc. was registered in New York and a website was created and now people from all over including Canada, close friends, relatives and co-workers are using Leanna’s hair products. It is available at selected Beauty Salons and online. Our customer’s satisfaction is our Motivation for example: “We got a phone call a once from a 55 year old male that is using only the hair dressing and his barber can’t understand why his hair is growing”.
At 11 years old now, she get a weekly update from us parents on how the business is doing, she's on top of her finances and as well as the satisfaction of her customers. Following up with an order that was placed in chicago illinois ended up being an assistant executive editor in ebony magazine, they were so impressed that they decided to write a story about her to be in either the october or november issue. we make the products with her. Mom and Dad have full time career jobs and the second factor that keeps us motivated to keep the business going for her are: she's a straight A HONOR student at a private school in Long Island, she plays the Piano and she hopes to make it to the Oprah Show one day to tell the world her story. we listened to her and many parents don’t take their children seriously when they want to do something. I want to tell Parents out there to please listen to their kids, it could make a difference.
The first thing I'd like to say is that Leanna's hair products is not only for kids. This product is for everyone and can be used on natural, chemically processed or braided hair to nourish and lubricate dry hair and itchy scalps. Our product is not going to make your hair grow overnight but believe us, it will make it grow. If your hair is falling, do an oil treatment and it will stop falling in a matter of a week not a month. Say goodbye to dry scalp, the oils are pure, not watered down, and very light, use it and style your hair the way you want to , it will not weigh it down.
Leanna's products are available to the public by popular demands from relatives and friends referring other people, word of mouth promotions.
Thank you
Leanna's Inc.

Hi Leanna /Parents
I would like to first say congratulation to your daughter on following her instinct, and the future is hers by staying on tract and having fun in reach her goals. My daughter is 13 years old and I keep telling her to follow though on her idea, but she sometime get distracted and turn away from her thoughts. I am so impress by your detemination to follow your gut instinct even when your perents were caught up with there daily activity.
How did you balance school, with following your dream? In Canada, they are saying that the kids get to much home work, how much home work did you get?
Follow your dreams!
From Marisa dad,
Chris
