Lebanese refugees fleeing north from the war zone find no respite, as Israel continues to attack. Israel believes Hezbollah is hidden amongst the civilian population of Lebanon, and any target to be a just one, no matter how vulnerable.

Israel struck the southern Lebanese city of Sidon yesterday for the first time in its campaign, destroying a religious complex it claimed was linked to Hizbullah and wounding four people.

More than 35,000 people streaming north from the heart of the war zone had swamped this southern port city, which is teetering under the weight of refugees. Fuel, food and some medicines were already in short supply for Sidon's population of 100,000 and nearly impossible to replenish.
