4-year-old girl dies after falling off edge of Grand Canyon

The view from the edge of the Grand Canyon is awesome, but to many, frightening. Somehow, a little girl playing with others at the edge got too close and fell to her death.


There are no fences or gates along the rim. The open view  allows visitors to fully experience the Grand Canyon.

A 4-year-old girl on a vacation trip with her parents to the Grand Canyon died after falling 450 feet off the canyon edge.

An Alabama couple witnessed the incident and is now speaking out about what they saw.

“We heard the mother screaming ‘Don’t move’,” Connie King said
