A young man learning how to drive, had a mishap at the wheel of a Guardian Angels van, turning it into an "Assault Vehicle".  The driver mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brake, making the van charge terrified shoppers and plow down several support beams at a mini-mall in Apache Junction, Arizona. 

 The out of control van finally came to a crashing stop after impacting a parked vehicle.  Several of the witnesses said if the parked car wasn't there, they wouldn't have survived. 

The funny photos show the damages resulting from the series of collisions, as well as a humorous ironic twist.
