Squealing swine stalled traffic Sunday on the Pomono (60) in California. Thankfully the apocalypse did not ensue.
INDUSTRY, Calif. A big rig overturned on the Pomona (60) freeway Sunday, forcing live pigs to scatter across the highway and stalling traffic for miles. The accident was reported at 5:10 p.m. on the connector between the southbound San Gabriel (605) and the Pomona (60) freeways, according to Officer Jose Nunez of the California Highway Patrol.
The connector road and three lanes on the westbound 60 were shut down as officers attempted to corral the pigs and clean up the road.
