Psychological Profiling Gift: Season's Greetings
Tis the season for sending greetings and giving gifts. To all of my readers, I wish you and your family a happy holiday and a prosperous new year. And... I have a little gift for each and everyone of you.
As you know, gift giving can be a very stressful experience. Especially when the quantity of gifts to be handed out could be an indefinite number. To make a long story short, I did some Windows shopping and found an entertaining product that I even obtained for myself. The gift idea came to me when I was reading the highlighted review.
As always with keeping you in mind, allow me to suggest that you consider giving this present to those that you bestow gifts upon. It can be your very own secret that you thought of the idea and found the gift yourself. I won't tell.
Please be informed that this writer has no affiliations with this company and that I am not receiving any kind of compensation for mentioning their product in this piece.
Digital Physiognomy 1.59Match person's face to his or her character.
Digital Physiognomy is an entertaining psychological profiling software application that determines person's character and traits based on facial features. While the connection between facial features and human personality has not been proven (just like lie-detector evidence is not admissible to court), the technique has long been used by law enforcement agencies and HR professionals. Digital Physiognomy can not and does not foretell the future. Like any other psychological profiling software, it simply provides a generic portrait of a person and tells what person's inclinations, preferences, likes and dislikes may be. The program was created for pure entertainment purposes. Among the characteristics it evaluates are Temper, Intellect, Self-Esteem, Sense of Humor, Level of Optimism, Will Power, even Luck. Importantly, the program does not require a photograph of a person. It uses a technique analogous to police sketches (sometimes called photo robot). The user simply chooses among eyes, noses, ear lobes, chins, eye-brows, cheekbones, foreheads, and other parts of a human face to create a sketch that closely resembles a person. To check program's accuracy, it is recommended to create a self-portrait first. The application comes with a set of faces that belong to famous people - Einstein, Chaplin, Stalin, Mao and some others. Digital Physiognomy can be tried and tested free of charge. Thank you for making it clear about your (lack of, in this case) affiliation with the company. Transparency with regard to potential biases is always appreciated.
I shudder to think what my face says about me. People always tell me I look sad, even when I'm bursting with joy.
