The incident caught on a YouTube video was taken in the summer before new laws came in making it illegal to buy cigarettes for the under 18's.

Two police officers filmed buying cigarettes for teenagers will not face disciplinary action.

The female officers were seen on footage posted on the YouTube website, handing cigarettes to the teenagers in Kingsway Estate in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
In the video, one officer hands over the cigarettes and apologises for not getting the teenager's favourite brand. read more from the source: Sky News.

Even if within the letter of the law, there's still that whole police-officer-as-role-model issue. Nick Angel would never do such a thing.
