One of my friend told me that he was very astonished by looking at the huge whale washed ashore yesterday here in Wellawatte, Colombo.

According to my friend the size of the whale is massive. But, he is unable to stay there to watch the whale in action, where whale produced noxious odour. Most of the people who came to watch the amazing happening covered their nose with hands.

Witnesses said the whale was still alive when it was found near the beach in the Wellawatte district of Colombo about 10 a.m. (0430 GMT), but the huge mammal died quickly.

Experts say the whale, about eight meters in length, might have been seriously wounded at sea before it was washed ashore.

I am lucky to have this news in a website as a news piece. So, I am here quoting the news.
