Rapper Lil Boosie, Torrence Hatch, is goes to jail after getting two years for drug possession of marijuana and a gun.
This comes one day before the rapper's album Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz debuts in the Billboard Top 10 Chart.
Lil Boosie will serve one year in prison at least after his lawyers reached a deal that all but two of a 10-year sentence were suspended. He will then be on active supervised probation for two to five years.
"I'm ready to get this behind me," Boosie, 25, told Judge Chip Moore one week before he was scheduled to stand trial in connection with his October 22 arrest.
He was found on October 22 with a bag of marijuana, a cigar with weed in it, and more drugs and a gun in his car. He was charged with third-offense possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm.
His sentencing date is November 9th, and the judge warned Lil Boosie to stay away from trouble until that time. If he is rearrested or caught breaking the law again, his suspended 10-year sentence will no longer apply.

Boosie should go to jail to set an example for the kids that look up to him. There are so many kids that think he is the shit, so honestly what example do you feel he is setting. Don't get me wrong I love to hear Boosie music, but there are consequence for all our actions.
