Biography
Linda joined the City of Cambridge in October 2007 taking on the newly created position of Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing in the office of the Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to this, she served some five years as Canada’s Technology Triangle Inc’s Director of Marketing and Communications. She held positions with the Toronto Transit Commission, The City of Guelph Economic Development Department, The City of Mississauga and the Wellington County Board of Education. She spent over a decade working in public relations and marketing employed with multinationals, government and private industry, and began her career with Canadian National Railways specializing in media relations and internal communications.
Linda is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Economic Development Association of Canada. She graduated from York University in Marketing Management; Loyalist College in Communications/TV Broadcasting; Sheridan College in Photography; and recently completed the Economic Development program at the University of Waterloo. She is currently working on a Communications Studies/Business degree at Wilfrid Laurier University.
