BUILT around a medieval castle, and with a population of just over
250,000 people, Ljubljana, Slovenia, is tiny compared with most other
European capitals. What was once a business haven for Germans,
Austrians and Italians is gaining an increasingly international
collection of visitors, with British and American business travelers
now topping the list. Slovenia’s compact size also means that companies
can combine meetings in Ljubljana with team exercises
(mountain-climbing, anyone?) or perks for employees.
