Operation Garden Plot

Operation Garden Plot is a general U.S. Army and National Guard plan to respond to major domestic civil disturbances within the United States. The plan was developed in response to the civil disorders of the 1960s and is now under the control of the U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM). It provides Federal military and law enforcement assistance to local governments during times of major civil disturbances.

Garden Plot was last activated (as Noble Eagle) to provide military assistance to civil authorities following the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.

Under Homeland Security restructuring, it has been suggested that similar models be followed.

the National Guard Bureau based on the long-standing Garden Plot model
in which National Guard units are trained and equipped to support civil
authorities in crowd control and civil disturbance missions." Testimony

Operation Noble Eagle is the U.S. military operational designator to the military's efforts in the War on Terrorism that were carried out on US soil. The operation began September 14, 2001, in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks,
and continues to the time of this writing. Operation Noble Eagle
comprises, among other things, air interceptor patrols over and around
cities and the mobilization of thousands of National Guard and Reserve
troops to perform security missions on military installations, airports
and other potential targets such as bridges. This operation also marks
the first combat mission of the F-22 Raptor.

Conducted under the Garden Plot contingency plan.

KEARNEY, good stuff. Is this the first time that troops have been deployed in D.C.? Are these troops just replacements, or is this a whole new thing? A bit unsettling.

Could this deployment be in preparation for the upcoming protests in Washington on September 15th?  Are these troops to be used against USA'ns who will be exercising their constitutional rights and responsibilities?  I suppose we'll know soon enough.

Troops were deployed in the aftermath of 9/11. But that is the only time I can recall a deployment since 9/11. And when they were deployed on 9/11, I saw troops, jeeps, and soldiers with machine guns and other armament lining each block of Massachusetts Avenue from the Vice President's residence down Embassy Row to downtown. It was eerie because at 6:00pm on the day of 9/11, there were very few cars on the streets of DC except for the military jeeps.

NYC in the days following 9/11 were also crawling with soldiers: it was like something out of a sci-fi movie. That, and the smell, I will never forget.

it is well known that this is being organized by the same george soros groups, the same paid demonstrators to claim this is some vietnam era demonstration is being less than candid. I´ve never heard of anarchists getting paid for demonstrations. What I´ve heard of is a President of the United States of America who´s to the edge of impeachment and get good advices from honourable self-declared "patriots" like Philip Atkinson on August 3, 2007:

If President Bush copied Julius Caesar by ordering his army to empty Iraq of Arabs and repopulate the country with Americans, he would achieve immediate results: popularity with his military; enrichment of America by converting an Arabian Iraq into an American Iraq (therefore turning it from a liability to an asset); and boost American prestiege while terrifying American enemies. 

What I´ve heard of is a Vice President Dick Cheney who´s asserting he is not part of the executive branch, because he is afraid of a parliament and subpoenas in an affair about dismissing federal lawyers that weren´t "loyal" to the Bush Government.

What I´ve heard of is a President who is stuck in a bunch of corruption scandals which should do make every thinking person wonder who´s paying this government. And now high tech military is deployed to Washington and you are talking about anarchists? The anarchists have squatted the White House, Lady. They declared the Constitution as a "God damn piece of paper" and they act like that. 

And if you call yourself a patriot - I´m sure you do - you should focus on what´s happening, who has the ability to do what and who benefits.

Though I have heard from "News of the World" that "BATBOY" may make an appearance, and "Dick Cheney is a Robot" but then that is just rumour and innuendo.
