Over £1 million worth of damage has been reported after a blaze struck
penthouse apartments in Brighton UK. Around twelve noon plumes of smoke
were noticed billowing from the apartments at Brunswick Terrace
adjacent to the popular seafront. High winds and dry weather were
a contributing factor to the fire with flames reaching at least 30 feet
high. It is believed that two £1 million flats have been completley
destroyed with fire damage reported to the two adjoining flats also.
Firemen had to perform a full evacuation of the block before they could
put the fire out. Ten engines, two aerial platforms, and more than 55
