ground despite the bad weather. The cost was over One million pounds and was
watched all over the country on the TV networks. Londoners amassed in there
thousands to watch and welcome in the new year. The downside to all this was the
emergency services having to cope with over 4000+ call outs mainly for drink
related incidences.
