Lord Puttnam, recently appointed Chancellor, arrived at The Open University, Milton Keynes, today to give a talk as part of a Strategic Forum titled 'Ethics in Real Life' Other speakers at the conference to launch the University's new Ethics
Centre will include Professor Brad Hooker, Professor of Moral
Philosophy at the University of Reading, and Catherine Cameron and Dr
John Drysdale.

Discussion themes will include ethical issues
in science; corporate social responsibility; ethical theory and moral
practice; and the ethics of international development policy.
