Low Pay Burns Mokelumne Fire District

June 12, 2007 California - The Mokelumne Rural Fire District, a one-station department employing nine firefighters to cover 64 square miles in the rural towns of Victor and Lockeford east of Lodi, is seeking community help to keep the firefighters it hires and trains.
