Over a million people gathered in Pasadena to watch the annual Rose Parade, which once again dazzled with colourful floats and flowers. This year, hundreds of volunteers paid a tribute to Star Wars creator George Lucas. He acted as the grand marshal of the parade.
As hundreds of thousands of Rose Parade spectators cheered wildly, some 200 armor-clad volunteers of the 501st Legion — a.k.a. Vader's Fist — marched grimly down Colorado Boulevard, paying tribute to the Tournament of Roses' grand marshal, "Star Wars" creator George Lucas.

The theme this year was "Our Good Nature" ..It showcased a lot of floats like 100 years of Oklahoma , a big crowd on the Star Wars theme etc.
