Lunchbox-A-Lele (a cross between ukulele and lunchbox), recently donated two of his original prototypes to Brush Fire Painting Workshop's 'Celebration of Creativity Benefit Art Show and Silent Auction' at San Francisco’s Space Gallery, Saturday, October 14.
The two donated pieces raised a whopping $245.00 each for the local charity which funds art programs for the underserved youth in San Francisco's public schools.
The evening featured an art gallery exhibit of paintings created by Workshop students as well as music by singer Gina Maria, followed by Ukulele Ray's crazy comedy and music on his Lunchbox-A-Lele.
According to Naomi Rifkin, program founder, the event was a wonderful success, raising more than $3,000.00 for the local charity.
“It was fantastic having Ukulele Ray’s excitement and energy for the evening,” Rifkin added.
