This is the 'Mahabouddha' temple of Patan. If you see this image at full size you will see that every brick has the sculpture of buddha. All the Buddhas one one side of the temple are in the same pose and there are four different poses of buddha on all the four sides. All the bricks of this temple was built with different sized moulds. This templewas originally built in 1585 AD but in the earthquake of 1934 it was completely destroyed. The original moulds that were used to make the bricks in 1585 were found inside the temple and they were used to rebuild it. Those moulds are still preserved inside the temple.
