Malaysian envoy meets House Speaker over Indonesian assault

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Malaysian Ambassador Dato Zainal Abidin
Muhammad Zain held Thursday a closed-door meeting with Indonesian House
of Representatives (DPR) Chairman Agung Laksono as relations between
the two neighboring states turn sour following Malaysian police`s
brutality against an Indonesian karate referee last week.

The Malaysian envoy, accompanied by a number of his staffers came to the parliament building to meet the House`s summons.
