Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Malaysia's foreign minister and police chief
pledged Tuesday to fully investigate four policemen accused of beating
an Indonesian karate referee attending a championship in Malaysia last
week.

The attack, allegedly by four plain clothes police who said they were
hunting for illegal immigrants, has triggered outrage in Indonesia,
which sends thousands of workers -- both legal and not -- to its
neighbour each year.
