A male orangutan (pongo pygmaeus) was born at the ex-situ conservation
center Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI) in Cisarua, Bogor, West Java, on
Monday bringing the orangutan population in the park to 33.
"The baby orangutan was born from a female orangutan, Sherly (21), and
a male, Bombom (27)," TSI spokesman Yulius M Suprihardo told ANTARA
News last Tuesday.
