The worlds largest reusable canvas shopping bag will be the 24 hour home of a west Texas man planning a food drive on September 8th in San Angelo, Texas. Egan Sanders,  an environmental activist, got help from the West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind in constructing a huge 8 foot high canvas shopping bag, and he plans to stay inside it for 24 hours to raise awareness of the environmental problems with using disposable plastic bags when shopping.  The bag will be  located on the Sam's Club parking lot starting Saturday morning. Anyone who brings non perishable food items for the Concho Valley Regional Food bank that Saturday will receive at least one reusable shopping bag donated by local and national businesses. The goal is to give away a thousand or more bags during the Big Bag event, and raises needed food supplies for the Food Bank.
