A special effects assistant has been critically injured on the set of Tom Hanks' new movie "Charlie Wilson's War," when a simulated missile exploded.  He has undergone surgery and the cause of the explosion is being investigated. Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks were not on set at the time of the accident.

Stars of "Charlie Wilson's War," including Hanks and Julia Roberts, were not on set at the time, Fire Capt. Darren Moon said.
