A UK man who builds scale replicas of buildings, buses, and pubs has just completed his latest and greatest project: a replica of the Taj Mahal. And he made it for his wife, of course (go ahead, say "aww").

Mr Savory, 70, says the model, which took him eight months to make, is a labour of love for his wife, Ann, and was inspired by reading a book about the building's history.

He said: "I read that Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal for his second wife who died in childbirth.

"I knew it was going to be a challenge, but I had to give it a go anyway. It was a labour of love for my wife."
