We have been following this story since it broke a few hours ago.

We continue to have footage coming in from Manhattan.  No doubt this will be a story you will see on the evening news, nightly news, and in the morning.  The reports are still vague on what type of aircraft actually flew into the building.  Helicopter or small plane?

A small plane or helicopter crashed into building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, exploding in a fireball that engulfed at least one floor of the 50-story apartment house.

The aircraft slammed into the high-rise on East 72nd Street near York Avenue at about 2:42 p.m. local time, at the New York Fire Department said. Debris fell to the street and firefighters arrived minutes later to battle flames that are shooting from windows of the building.
