I wish I could post a more recent story, however the Vancouver Media drops off the map when it comes to covering this event.  It is astonishing how little is out there or being reported on by the Vancouver Sun or the other papers in town.  How can you ignore a story about more than 500 women missing in this area?  If anyone has photo's of today's March, it would be great to get them up for this story.

Marline Trick will not say the woman's name, describing her only as a native woman who in 1991 joined a staggeringly long list of prostitutes murdered in the rotting jungle that is Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. The woman, Trick explained, could easily have become just another anonymous statistic, but instead the ghastly circumstances of her death became emblematic of the soul-killing horror of Canada's sex trade.
