Two words spoken by a man she has never seen in person are the reason college student Maxine Frank decided to march in the Downtown Eastside yesterday to remember women she never knew.
When Robert (Willy) Pickton got up in a New Westminster court last month and said he was not guilty of killing more than 20 women from the seedy Vancouver neighbourhood, his words forced her to take action, said Ms. Frank, a 20-year-old student at Langara College.
