Mosul, March 6, (VOI) - A total of 140 prisoners escaped Badoush prison on Tuesday afternoon after an attack by unidentified gunmen, a police source in the predominantly Sunni Ninawa province, 402 km northwest of Baghdad, said. "A group of unidentified gunmen attacked Badoush prison this afternoon", the source, who asked not to be named, told the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).
