Mayor Rejects Firefighter's Dog Food Payout

California - Flexing his veto power for the first time, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on Monday struck down a $2.7 million settlement in the case of a black firefighter tricked into eating dog food at a Westchester fire station.
