Research coming out of Columbia University:  following a “Mediterranean diet” could help people with Alzheimer’s disease live longer than patients who eat a more conventional Western diet.

Thanks for using my hummus picture- it looks like it is supporting a good cause here! Your site is great; my grandmother actually has Alzheimer's and is in an assisted living home.  Fourtanetly, she is  happy and lighthearted and not withdrawn like so many other Alzheimer's patients.

I have a few more Mediterranean recipes up on my blog : http://cindalouskitchenblues.blogspot.com/  like Mediterranean Grilled Eggplant and Veggies, Greek Lamb iwth Roasted Red Pepper and Kale, and Black Bean Hummus.  All of my recipes are gluten (mostly dairy) free, which I hear helps the body heal from many degenerative diseases.  Oh, I also moved to Slide rather than Flickr, so all my new photos (updated daily) are on Slide if you get a chance to look again.

Thanks again, keep up the good work!
