I am a social media consultant.

I spend much of my time hanging out in the online social media world and hope to share the knowledge I’ve gained about social softwares, networks and online communities with the people and businesses that could benefit from tapping into this powerful world.

Other things I've been up to online over the past few years:
- co-produced and hosted an online video podcast promoting Canadian independent music, ThisCityRocks.
- Director of Social Media for Catapult Media, building online communities for non-profit and civil society organizations.
- initiated and organize community tech events: BarCamp, Vinocamp, Democamp, Bridging Media...

My education is a mixed bag from a BA in Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson University, to Classical Theatre at Oxford University, to graphic and web design at Concordia University.

I am originally from Newfoundland and now make my home
in Vancouver, BC.
