AI is considering changing its stance to make the procedure an international right for women who face unplanned pregnancies.

Representative Chris Smith spearheaded a letter signed by over 70 of his colleagues urging AI to remain neutral on abortion—or join the pro-life cause in defending the unborn. Deirdre McQuade is with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
