Merinews Sponsors India’s Biggest Bloggers’ Unconference

Merinews, India’s first participatory news portal, was the proud online media and venue sponsors of Blog Camp, the biggest ever bloggers’ conference in India till date. The two day event was held in Chennai, India on the 9th and 10th of September. The response from citizen journalists and bloggers from all across the country and abroad was extremely heartening. The event was attended by more than 200 active bloggers and was actively followed online as well. The conference or the unconference (as it was described by the organisers) included lectures, interactive quizzes, hallway discussions, debates and games.
