Metaverse Magazine Follows Its' Publisher's Footsteps: Second Life Crosses Into Real Life
1st Touch Magazine, a publication first created in a Metaverse called Second Life has crossed the 3D Client Threshold and is NOW online!
1st Touch Magazine Online was first concieved in San Francisco based, Linden Lab's Metaverse called Second Life (SL), a virtual world that is creating a paradigm shift in the way people can communicate and collaborate simultaneously, around the world in real time! You can read more about it here.
The magazine's creators, Carmen Villadar and Marcus Link (avatar names: Ysabel Isabella and Fim Fischer in SL) decided to take their inworld publication to Real Life (RL). "It just made sense ... " Villadar states. "Marcus and I met in SL and everything we did in SL became real. I am actually starting a book called 'When Second Life Meets Real Life', it's a phenomenon really. It's as if SL became a platform for much of our Real Life endeavours - now, that we never had the chance of doing before."
Villadar and Link met in Second Life's metaverse and had dated for 4 months inworld before Villadar made her Transatlantic Crossing from Houston, Tx to Frankfurt, Germany. "I had been in nursing for 11 years and had always ached to do something creative. A friend told me about Second Life back in 2005 and once I explored the possibilities of this 3D Platform, it became clear that I would be able to use it as a 'creative tool'. It saved me from 'burning out!'
Villadar's avatar, Ysabel Isabella met Fim Fischer on Decemeber 25th 2006 and together they started an inworld magazine called 1st TOUCH. 1st TOUCH Magazine's purpose is to cover Second Life stories that reaches out to Real Life and touches the heart and soul of the human behind that avatar. The magazine was meant to serve as a reminder to the people in Second Life that everthing you did inworld was really an extension of the person behind the avatar.
Villadar, an architect/builder/furniture designer in Second Life was commissioned by www.Virtuocity.jp to create office buildings for their sim (virtual land) that aims to pull Real Life Japanese Companies into this metaverse. Link's avatar, an inworld live events manager, builder and land (sim) developer for Real Life companies, holds his own brand with his designer Fim Fischer Watches Collection.
Villadar and Link are now seeking writers to contribute content to 1st Touch Magazine Online. Please contact digitalfemme.eu for more information about writing for 1st Touch Magazine Online, Second Life or about their incredible love story.

digitalfemme.eu, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. I've got a few suggestions, and if you give them a try, I'd be happy to remove this flag.
I wasnt sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered.
Please review What Makes News News. As a magazine I'd expect that you understand this. If you edit your story so that it's newsworthy, I'll remove this flag.
