Here's quick info on the Miami Art Museum located in Miami, Fl that I got from a brief interview with the Membership Manager of the MAM, Angela Oxenburg.

Are there any prominent members?

"Prominent members include real estate
developers Ambassador Paul Cejas, Ella Fontanals-Cisneros, Jorge Perez, and
Craig Robins; philanthropist Rose Ellen Meyerhoff Greene (member of the
National Gallery of Art's Trustees' Council); former Miami Herald publisher
David Lawrence."

How is the museum financially sustained?

"Miami-Dade County is the largest single source of
funding to the museum, representing about one-third of our budget.  The
remainder comes from other sources, including individual donations, other
government (state and federal) and foundation grants, and corporate
underwriting.  Entrance fees make only a small contribution (less than 5
percent, with 5 percent being the national average) to our operating costs."

What age group most visits the MAM?

"MAM’s audience
is considerably younger than the national norm.   Our last visitors
study showed 51 percent of our visitors were below the age of 35.  The
national average for art museums in the under 35 segment is 30 percent."
